I make sure to take note of every Tech Support call I get and I’ve compiled a list of the the most frequent questions asked. I’ll be posting them every few weeks as a resource to you all. Here’s a few questions & answers about the PS2 Power Supply I wanted to share with everyone.

Q1. What is solid state design and why is it important?
A1. Solid state eliminates the need for mechanical relays and is a reliable electrical system.

Q2. Can I wire several devices to fire together off of one input from a single access control device?
A2. Yes, the PS2 can fire two devices when a jumper is used from the positive of input 1 to the positive of input 2.

Q3. Does your PS2 power supply come with a fire link?
A3. Yes, the PS2 is equipped with a fire link to make wire to any fire alarm system easy.

Q4. Does your PS2 come with a battery back-up option?
A4. Yes, if ordered as a PS2BB, it will come with wiring kit to allow for battery back-up installation. As with all our battery back-up power supplies batteries are not included.
