Here at The Command we are excited about the new year with all the growth & opportunities it brings.
We’re happy to announce that we’ll be opening 2 new warehouses locations in 2011 that allow us to keep our promise of a HUGE INVENTORY and make the availability of products easier to our growing customers. First off, we’ve expanded into Canada with a new warehouse location in the Toronto area. We will be announcing the opening of our East Coast location later this year.
Other exciting news from The Command is that we’ve outgrown our current facility and we’re moving into a BIGGER more EFFICIENT facility not too far from where we are now! We’re committed to the industry and to our customers and this growth will increase our production, QC & sales capabilities.
Bottom line, in 2011 CAT products will be more readily available to our ever growing customers in the U.S. and Canada.

Some of you may have noticed the new Cut Sheets on our website. If this is news to you, you’ve got to check them out. We’ve revised them to streamline your spec writing workflow.
Simply print out the PDF and fill it out according to your jobs specs. If you are running Adobe Acrobat Standard or higher, you can use the “Comment” function which allows you to highlight, circle, cloud, crossout and even draw a sketch if you need to.
This new functionality is limited based on your version of the Adobe product mentioned above.
Please Enjoy the new Cut Sheets and let us know what you think about them!

We would like to introduce you to our newest team member—Danny Lopez
Danny started working at Command Access in September 2009, and has acclimated himself quite well to the fast pace of our growing company. His drive and dedication to serving our customers makes him a valuable asset to our inside sales and customer service department. To really understand Danny’s work ethic and character, you need to know how his journey brought him to Command Access.
Like a twisting mountain road, Danny’s career is filled with turns ascending him to more important , more valuable positions. For 18 years, Danny worked for a material supply distributor to the retail industry. True to Danny’s character, his value was soon recognized and elevated him to supervisory positions. Here he gained his knowledge of Cal OSHA Standards and extensive insight on warehouse operations.
When the owners took over a Contract Hardware company in Southern California, they did not hesitate to bring Danny with them and propelled him into our industry. His desire to learn and improve resulted in him passing numerous IR training courses for mechanical and electrical applications. By the end of his 7 year tenure, he could handle any project issue “from job walk to floor stop”
Thankfully, Danny’s road has brought him to Command Access. He has been instrumental in the re-organization of our warehouse, manufacturing, and shipping and receiving areas. Soon he will be working on the implementation of a new inventory system to better serve our customers. Danny is a family man with three children and a wife of 22 Years. We are very proud and lucky to have him as an addition to our team.
Way to Go Danny!
